Below are links to AMSCO reading guide templates that can be useful as students navigate through the AMSCO Textbook for AP World History: Modern. These templates are meant to promote analysis and organization, replacing the traditional outline method.

These templates are in chronological order and are aligned with each subunit within the AMSCO text. Depending on the time constraints and pacing of your own AP classroom, I suggest tailoring these templates to your students' specific needs. Removing sections, adding videos, or editing questions to address areas of struggle may be helpful.

Along with enhancing comprehension, these templates also emphasize the AP themes, as well as the historical thinking skills laid out by College Board. Though emphasized, these templates to not provide specific practice sections to develop these skills.
